Today job market deals with two types of sectors which are Government Sector and Private Sector. Both have their own advantages as well as disadvantages. Choice between them is quite difficult.

It is not wrong to consider that government jobs are back in fashion these days because of liquidity problem occur in private sector , but private sector also have the ability to regain its standard and importance.

Job security is one of the major need of human. Fear of job loss is spreading over the private sector a lot. In such situation opting for Government job is a better choice and also now the sixth pay commission came into existence, the starting salary of some central government fields is also very good.

There are many financial services and many other benefits, such as home loans,children higher education, buying any new thing are at a low rate of interest offered by the department where the employee is currently working. Government jobs are not only secure but also having fixed working hours and relaxed, congenial working style.

Some people give more priority to the Esteem ” What they achieved so far”. Private sector is totally based on talent .It is a platform where you can prove your worth by working hard and by showing your talent.

Promotions of the jobs in private sector is based on performance and contribution one has given for the company profits. Its not like government jobs where promotion for some job depends upon your seniority rather than your performance.

Government sector lacks a lot in adapting new technology as compare to the private sector where new advanced technology adapted very fast and special on-the-job and off-the-job training is provided to the employees to enhance their skills. Whereas in government sector , progress rate is very slow it need a lots of paper work and formalities which are hardly implemented.

One of the major disadvantage of private sector other than job cut is long working hours in office which force the person to ignore their personal life and families and the person have to give so many commitment to his work that even in some cases health suffer a lot whereas there are fixed working hours in government jobs.

Another thing is that in private work there is a fast paced working style and environment make them loyal and dedicated whereas Government sector suffer from corruption and politics a lot.
