Details:- BSF invites applications from male Indian citizens for the posts of Head Constables and Asst Sub-Inspector.

Eligibility: ITI/ Diploma (Radio and TV Technology/ Electronics/ Engine Fitter/ Telecommunication/ Computer Engg/ Electrical / Mech)

Physical Standards: Height : 170 cms, Chest : 80 cms (85 cms after expansion). Weight : Corresponding to Height.

Medical Standards:- Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of the both eyes without correction i.e. without wearing glasses,Must pass high-grade colour vision test,Must not have knock-knees, flat feet or squint in eyes,Must not be having any defect/deformity likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Application Fee:- Application should be accompanied by a Crossed Bank Draft / Indian Postal Order for Rs.50 (Fifty) only for Gen/OBC candidates as the examination fee in favor of The Inspector General or DIG/Comdt to whom the application is addressed payable at respective SBI/ post office. However, the SC/ST and Departmental candidates are not required to submit examination fee.

How to Apply:- Application along with fee will be sent to any of the centers given. The envelope containing application must be superscripted in bold letters as under “Application for the post of HC( RO )/ HC( FITTER )/ ASI( RM ) ”. Application should reach to the addressee on or before 1st May 2010.
