Job Description:-

1. One of our clients is a leading Bank of the top four Banks in Australia and now is looking at expansion within the country and at worldwide locations. 

2. The Bank now requires , change and Knowledge Management Finance Banking Executives to take the Bank to next orbit of success worldwide.

3. Due to strong growth , this boutique Australian equities manager has created a fantastic opportunity for a SBE to join them as they commence implementation of the next stage of their strategy. 

4. The role covers tasks relating to both the investment management business itself and its cornerstone client.

5. The SBE role supports the Managing Director and Board in the successful implementation of the overall strategy and is responsible for the effective day to day business management of the company , as well as investment administration of the funds it manages. 

6. As the company continues to expand , the role will increase in magnitude and scope , allowing the successful candidate to take on more responsibilities.

Specific Responsibilities Encompass four Key Areas:

1. Investment administration , accounting and tax , including verification of all fund accounting services prepared by our outsourced service provider.

2. Company secretarial and corporate governance ( Corps Law , ASIC and ASX compliance ) , including preparing of board papers and reporting , planning and coordinating the AGM of a listed investment fund and managing relationships and reporting to ASIC , ASX and other regulatory and industry bodies as required.

3. Business administration ( finance , tax , accounting , HR , premises , systems management ) including budget and cash flow management and the preparation of monthly management accounts , statutory half year and annual accounts.

4. Management of the team and all external service providers.

Desired Candidate Profile:-

1. Any of the following certifications: Certified Practicing Accountant ( CPA ) / Chartered Accountant qualifications / MBA ( Finance ) Qualifications.

2. Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting , commerce or financial management.

4. Exceptional time management , inter-personal and communication skills.

At a Minimum , You Will have at Least 2 to 3 years Experience in:

1. Management or investment accounting.

2. Working for , or providing outsourcing services to , an investment or fund management business

3. Exposure to AFSL , ASIC compliance and financial services legislation.

Successful Team Management:

1. It is expected that the successful candidate will currently be working in an investment management company or for a service provider , such as an auditor , custody or investment administration company servicing investment managers.

2. This is a rare opportunity to grow with the Banking company and candidates looking to work part time or flexible hours initially with a view to full time employment will also be considered. 

3. Please note that this is permanent role.

4. Candidates should essentially possess extraordinary and exceptionally high English Language skills set.

5. Fresh MBA in Finance from Internationally recognized , reputed and well acclaimed Business Management Institutions are welcome and encouraged to apply for the positions.
