Job Description: –

1. Lavasa has established a Primary Health Center in the Hill City to cater to the work force which is currently employed in Lavasa in various activities such as construction and Hospitality.

2. Aim of the Primary Health Center is to provide for basic healthcare needs of the work force employed in Lavasa.

3. The Primary Health Center is currently being operated by Apollo hospitals.

4. The PHC has a requirement for 1 MBBS doctor who shall be based in Lavasa on a full time basis.

5. The doctor shall be responsible for treating all cases which come to the PHC on an OPD basis.

6. The admissions in the PHC are restricted to daycare.

7. The doctor will be provided food and accommodation in Lavasa.

8. The monthly remuneration payable to the doctor shall range from Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 depending upon the experience and qualification.

9. The doctor should have atleast 2 years of work experience in working is a hospital setup with atleast 6 months in emergency medicine.

Desired Candidate Profile: -

Company Profile: -Lavasa is a new hill city being planned by Hindustan Construction Company. It is located in Western India, between Mumbai and Pune. The hill city is planned over 12,500 hectares of land. Lavasa is approximately an hour’s drive from Pune (around 65 kms), and almost three and a half hours away from Mumbai (around 200 kms). As the city is being build for the start, currently Lavasa is a hub of construction activity. Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd has entered into a joint venture with Lavasa corporation ltd to setup a Health City planned over 200 acres of land. As a part of the initiative the group has planned 150 bedded hospital in the health city. The hospital currently in finishing stages shall start operation from November 2009 with 52 beds which shall be increased over a period of time.
