National Innovation Foundation (NIF), based at Ahmedabad, has been constituted as an autonomous registered society in February 2000 and is expected to become a grant-in-aid institution under Department of Science and Technology, Government of India shortly. Applications are invited from highly motivated professionals, who have faith in the potential of innovations at grassroots, initiative-driven and performance-oriented people who can fit into an NGO kind of work culture and are willing to learn, explore and work together with innovators and traditional knowledge holders.

2. National Coordinator-Intellectual Property Rights (including licensing expertise; NC-IPR)
3. National Coordinator-Scouting & Documentation (NC-S&D)
4. National Coordinator-Information Technology and Dissemination (NC-IT & D)
5. Finance-cum-Administrative Associate (F&AA)
6. Finance-cum-Administrative Officer (F&AO)
7. Innovation Officers/fellows at various levels and different functions (Scouting and Documentation; Value addition, Research & Development; Businesses Development; Communication; Media; Database Design; Computer Application; Finance; Management Information System)
8. Copy Editors/Content Creators/Communicators (English and Hindi)

- ELIGIBILITY -

CIO: Masters degree in Science or Management with 10 years experience including at least 3 years at top management level. NC-IPR: Masters degree in Law with 5 years experience in Intellectual property, licensing and related matters. NC-S&D: Masters degree in Science with 5 years experience in Science, Agriculture, and Engineering. F&AA: CA/M.Com, F&AO: CA/ICWA with hands-on experience of single handedly managing computerized accounts. NC-IT&D: Masters degree in Agriculture / Engineering / Management or allied fields and a minimum 5 years relevant management experience in their respective areas. Innovation Officers: Masters degree in Science, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Veterinary, Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Social Science, Law, Logistics, Communications, Journalism etc., with at least two years experience (Please attach the samples of your work).

A strong service orientation and willingness to work without assistants would be an additional advantage. Innovation Officers at various levels will be appointed in different parts of the country including frontier areas such as North East states and Jammu & Kashmir.

-EMOLUMENTS:-

CIO: Rs. 36,000-1,00,000 pm including all perks; NC-IPR, NC-S&D and NC-S&D : Rs. 26,000-75,000/- pm; F&AA: Up to Rs. 20,000/- including all perks.; F&AO: Rs. 18,000-25,000 with HRA upto Rs. 4,000/-; Innovation Officers: Rs. 12,000-36,000 consolidated per month depending on qualification and experience. All positions are contractual and do not carry any other allowance.
