It is a famous saying that “Time once lost, lost forever”. Shortage of time is the common complaint among people in these days. Time management helps you to manage your time and hence to complete all your tasks at proper time. Proper use of time is very important in this competitive world. Life has become too fast.

a) Planning
To chalk out a plan before starting a work is very important for the success. It plays a vital role in any successful endeavor. When we start a work with the proper plan and preparation then there will me be minimum chances of mistakes which avoid the wastage of time. So make a proper plan before starting the work.
b) Make some goals and be determined to achieve them
Set some long term and short term goals for yourself and keep thinking about them. It motivates you to complete your work in time and meet the deadlines. It reminds you that you have to progress and the time is limited. Your goals motivates you for proper usage of time. But setting goals is not enough. One should be determined to achieve the goals. Making a to-do list is the basis of all management system
c) Make habit of prioritizing the work
Try to prioritize the work. It will help you to assign proper time frame for a particular task. Make a priority wise list of tasks like
Category A: tasks that are urgent and important
Category B: tasks that are important but not urgent
Category C: tasks that neither urgent nor important
Prioritizing the work is a good skill which also helps in time management. Priority of a task helps to meet deadlines of work. You start using your time more efficiently.
d) Do not procrastinate
Do not leave today’s work for the next day. Make habit of What you can do today(now),try to do it today only. Never put off something and focus to meet deadlines.
e) Create a daily schedule and evaluate your daily activities
For good use of time, it is really very important to create a daily schedule which contains a list of activities to be done on that day and in how much time they need to be completed. Not only completing the task is important but it is also important to evaluate your daily activities. Have you taken the same time for completing an activity what you have assigned? If it is more than that then how much? What improvements you need to do.

take a paper,write down your full day routine . Maintain Maximum and minimum time limit for meeting deadlines ,prioritize your tasks and include breaks after definite period of time like after 2 or 3 hours work. start from a easy schedule to hard one.
