The movie “Taare Zameen par” finds an answer for the question that “Is every child special”? Now, its a question specially among parents, children and teachers that “which children should be termed as special”? Parents try to measure their child with the meter of academics. Are the Children who are not doing good at academics not as special as who are doing good at academics.

Is the every child should be categorized special and not special on the basis of academic parameters? Actually,we should not try to measure every child on the academic parameter. Every child is special whether he/she is good at academics or not. What about the other fields like sports, paint, dance, singing.

Are these not creative things? Yes they are. Parents do not concentrate on these skills of their child. They only focus whether their child is doing good at academics or not. Why we forget the multidimensional fields. Child needs understanding teachers and parents. Take his problems and help him to find a solution. The meaning is that every child is special. Why the parents always search for a scientist or an engineer in their child ? Why don’t they appreciate their children for their skills in any field other than the academic field? These are the questions parents need to ask to themselves. Some people scold their children for their performance in academics in comparison to the other children.

Parents should understand that every child is unique. People get frustrated when their children doesn’t perform according to their expectation. But why the child suffers from their frustration Parents should always try to boost up the confidence level of their children.

They should be told at their mistakes but beating is not a good practice. No longer the child feel free to share things to parents. Always try to make comfortable environment at home so that your child feels free to talk to you. Every child has a different specialty and parents should understand it. If any child is not good at academics ,that does not mean that he is not intelligent. Intelligent does not mean only good in studies.

Parents and Teachers are the persons who can help in grooming the personality of a child. Children are the future citizen of country. They can take the nation forward in the race. We should not forget that Children have their own world of imagination. Just try to understand their emotions and try to accompany them in their world. They should not be ignored. Give them attention so that they always feel special.

Try to find the things why your child is behaving in a particular manner.Try to make your child feel that you love him. Child psychology is not that easy to understand. Make sure that you take time to understand your child and his/her behavior, if you want your child to grow up as a good personality.
